. he said he saw two faces and two big sets of eyes. the two men on board were killed. it happened at 7:30 last night. plane crashed into a medical office building narrowly missing the main hospital building here at the watsonville community hospital. >>> the blilgs department but no one was there except for the people that were actually on the plane. >> reporter: here a close-up shot. faa will be on scene to take a close look at the crash scene but no cause has been identified yet. witnesses say it was foggy at the time. the plane had just taken off from the watsonville municipal airport. it's registered under two men but names were not released. hospital was not affected by the crash so hospital workers were able to continue caring for their patients. >>> this morning, survivors of a capsized fishing boat in mexico are expected back home in the bay area. at the same time family members of the seven men still missing are hoping they will have a reuin yoon in the near future. nick smith joins us. >> it's been tough for the families. 16 of the remaining 19 american survivors have crossed

's the main points? >> this is really great news. giving parents choices. the big change is that on menus that participate in this program there will be meals with at least one combination of -- that has 600 calories or less and with that, the side dish will have to be 200 calories or less more than that, looking at the types of foods, to make sure they're in line with the guidelines, increased fruits and vegetables. lean protein, whole grains and low fat dairy. >> choices are good. options are good, but the difference, what's the real difference here? >> well, you know, that's the big question. there is a recent study out of yale and looked at 20 fast food chains, there were 3,3,0 different combinations of kids' food. only 27 of thehemet the kind of guidelines we're talking about here. the big issue is will they be promoting these healthy guidelines, or will it just be one item on the menu and kids are still going for the fries. >> kind of related is getting a lot of buzz. . a big week all the way around. let's start with the case. these arrests could mean the common raise of giovanni ramirez. he was arrested in may. l.a.'s police chief at the time said very emphatically this was the man who beat stow. so l.a.'s mayor's office tells the l.a. times they are obviously going to need an explanation. now an anonymous police source say two people have been arrested. >> we were just waiting, kind of like everybody else. we know they have a big job to do and a lot of work ahead of them. we are putting all our faith in the lapd right now. >> this wouldn't mean ramirez would go free. he is serving time for a parole violation. this is a good example of why people shouldn't rush to judgment. we don't know what led them to these two people. we are hoping we will learn more today. as for stow's progress, according to his family's blog he has made a breakthrough and he opened his eyes and closed them on demand. when they asked him what his last name was, he mouthed the word stow. live in san francisco, amy hollyfield, "abc 7 news." >>> residents in one san francisco n

stadium where there is new developments in stow's recovery. >> reporter: big week for the stow family. this is the second time we've heard about an arrest from the l.a. police department on this case. is the first time they got it wrong when they arrested giovanni ramirez and they insisted he was the one that did it. we spoke with the reporter that broke the story about the two new arrests. >> sources close to us, this is who they think is responsible, these two suspects. >> reporter: ramirez was originally arrested in may and accused of the march beating. ramirez has been held since then. he is serving 10 mo sentence on parolee parole violation but many people insist he is the guy. bryan stow he remains at san francisco general hospital. around tuesday doctors performed emergency surgery. a that point things did not sound good but his family reports good news that he is making major strides. they say he opened his eyes and when he was asked what his last name was he mouthed the word stow. >>> thanks very much. >>> residents in one san francisco neighborhood are reacts weigh disbelief

a time lapse from our camera. yes, it is warming up, and it is going to warm up in a big way. as you look at this time lapse here, this is what it looked like this afternoon. the fog just hovered most of the afternoon, and as a result, it was cooler at the coastline today, but the inland areas continue -- continued to come up. it was in the low 70s. we have 60s across much of the bay area along the coastline though the temperatures are in the 50s. here are the highlights. patchy coastal fog. a big warm up for tomorrow. and we are looking at a cooling trend at the end of the week. so today's warm up is just a taste of what's coming tomorrow. looking at the satellite and the radar, an area of low pressure that is keeping us in the cooler than normal mode is exiting. so the higher pressure takes control of our weather. it is going to be much warmer tomorrow. here is what's going to happen. the wind flow around the area of high pressure is bringing the wind out of the northwest. we are already seeing signs of the northwesterly winds in the form of the fog getting blown away literally cleared
